Our Lady, Queen of Confessors was adopted as the
Patron of the Missionaries of Faith in the First General
Chapter in 1999.
The Child Jesus carries in His left hand a cross,
preannouncing the mystery of his Passion and Death.
He stands in an erect position, so as to communicate to
us that He is the Resurrection and life. The right hand
lifted up is both the mandate for the Mission and the
promise of His Protection.
As Mary sustains Jesus with her right arm she
communicates us her great joy to be the Mother and
manifests her total dedication to Him. Her left hand
sustains the cross as she communicates how to embrace
our Charisma "Mission and Faith". The open hand
indicates her attitude of total offering of herself as she
would say "Behold the handmaid of the Lord", and awaits
the Response.
